A square leather ottoman handcrafted in Marrakech from full-grain goatskin, with geometric panel construction and contrast topstitching along every seam. It comes in five sizes and two leather tones, so it works as a compact accent piece in an entryway or as a generous floor seat in a living room.

Construction and surface

• Full-grain goatskin: natural grain with a semi-matte finish, hand-dyed in brown or light brown

Tonal shifts between panels are natural to hand-dyed leather and mark the piece as handmade rather than machine-finished. They are not a defect.

Filled or unfilled

Choose filled and it arrives ready to use, packed with polystyrene foam and cotton. Choose unfilled and it ships flat, which cuts the freight cost considerably on the larger sizes. Fill it at home with shredded foam, fabric offcuts or densely packed old clothing — materials that hold their shape under load. Avoid loose polyfill or feathers, which flatten over time.

Care

Wipe with a barely damp cloth; never soak the leather. Condition two or three times a year so the hide stays supple. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which fades hand-dyed leather.
