Description
A square leather pouf in a clean, unadorned finish — no stamping, no embroidery, just the natural grain of the hide and the seams that hold it together. Handmade in Fes from full-grain goatskin, in five sizes and two leather tones.
Construction and surface
- Full-grain goatskin: natural grain with a semi-matte finish, hand-dyed in brown or light brown
- Panel construction: hand-cut panels joined with topstitched seams that divide each face into quarters
- Concealed base zip: fill and refill without unpicking any stitching

Natural leather takes dye unevenly, so tone shifts between panels and across a single face are normal. On the darker tone this reads as a mottled, lived-in patina. It is a property of the hide, not a defect.

Filled or unfilled
Choose filled and it arrives ready to use, packed with polystyrene foam and cotton. Choose unfilled and it ships flat, which cuts the freight cost considerably on the larger sizes. Fill it at home with shredded foam, fabric offcuts or densely packed old clothing — materials that hold their shape under load. Avoid loose polyfill or feathers, which flatten over time.
Care
Wipe with a barely damp cloth; never soak the leather. Condition two or three times a year so the hide stays supple. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which fades hand-dyed leather.

Care
Dust with a dry cloth. Wipe spills straight away with a barely damp cloth and let it air-dry away from direct heat — do not use soap or solvent on hand-dyed leather.
Treat with a neutral leather conditioner once or twice a year to keep the hide supple. Keep the pouf out of prolonged direct sunlight, which will fade the dye over time.
If the pouf softens after months of use, open the base zip and top up the filling rather than replacing it.

Cut by hand, closed with a needle
Every panel is cut to a template by hand and joined with a saddle stitch that passes through both layers of leather. It is slow work, and it is the reason the seams outlast the hide.
Materials
Full-grain goatskin, embroidered by hand
Goat hide is used because it stays supple under body weight instead of stiffening. The star medallion on the top panel is embroidered stitch by stitch over a template, which is why no two poufs line up identically.
