Description
The gimbri (also called sintir or hajhuj) is a three-string plucked lute central to Gnawa music, tuned with a sliding noose rather than pegs. Its low, resonant tone also makes it a striking piece of wall decor for non-players. Each instrument's finish is unique.
Details: Approx. 6.5 x 6 x 36 in. Material: wood body, natural skin soundboard, three strings.
Care: Keep away from humidity and direct heat.

About the making
Where a piece is handmade, the product description says so and names the material and technique. Handmade work varies a little from piece to piece in colour, size and pattern — that variation is a property of the craft, not a fault.
Fitness and Pilates equipment is manufactured, and labelled that way. Those pages list dimensions, rated capacity, materials and warranty in full so you can compare before you buy.
