This gold leather round pouf is hand-stitched from full-grain goat leather in Fes, where artisans in the medina's leather workshops have cut, dyed and sewn hide panels by hand for generations. The champagne gold finish carries a soft metallic sheen, and the top panel features an embossed eight-pointed star with floral vine detailing — a geometric motif rooted in Moroccan architectural tradition. Tone-on-tone stitching traces every panel seam, letting the pattern speak without competing with the leather's natural luster.

Cut by hand, closed with a needle
Every panel is cut to a template by hand and joined with a saddle stitch that passes through both layers of leather. It is slow work, and it is the reason the seams outlast the hide.
Materials
Full-grain goatskin, embroidered by hand
Goat hide is used because it stays supple under body weight instead of stiffening. The star medallion on the top panel is embroidered stitch by stitch over a template, which is why no two poufs line up identically.
