A round floor pouf cut and stitched by hand from full-grain goatskin in the leather workshops of Fes. The surface is tonal black on black — a hand-embroidered geometric star medallion sits at the centre of the top panel and the seams run down the sides in matching thread, so the pattern reads as texture rather than contrast.
Construction
- Full-grain goatskin — supple enough to give a little when you sit on it, and it takes on a patina with use rather than cracking
- Hand-stitched panels — every panel is cut and joined by hand, so no two poufs are identical
- Hand-embroidered star medallion — tone-on-tone geometric stitching across the top panel
- Concealed zipper at the base for filling, refilling and adjusting firmness

Filled or unfilled
Unfilled ships flat, which keeps the freight cost down — fill it at home with shredded foam, offcuts of fabric or old clothing. Avoid loose polyfill and feathers; they settle and the pouf goes soft. Choose filled if you would rather it arrive ready to sit on.
About the variation
Colour shifts a little between panels. That is normal for hand-dyed leather and is a mark of the craft, not a fault.
